It’s funny but not funny. My boys girl loves Ja so she’s literally tried to see him the last 3 times he’s come to DC. He hasn’t played every time. So she’s like F the NBA nowadays. She even checked the injury report and they sat him at the last min. People I know that faithfully attended games don’t even bother now. Myself included.

Yup the last game. She was pissed. She had bought league pass specifically to watch Grizzlies games. Said she cancelled it after that.I was at one of those games bro.

I've gotten mostly lucky in my trips to Portland, but the two that I remember vividly:
1. Philly without Embiid (fighting suspension game prior). Still a really good game, and a rare clutch performance by Ben Simmons to seal the win.
2. Denver sitting their entire starting lineup. This one was infuriating.

Tried to catch Bron in Atl last month after that blowout loss to the HEAT, he was on the injury report for the first time this season. He bounced between questionable and probable until the official status is required per league rules. That was MORE than enough for me to keep my streak alive of not buying tickets alive for the last several years. Not one of those to say, well I saw my team play and win while paying tier prices for said superstar who's on the bench in street clothes laughing it up. I'm beyond good on all that nonsensical talk.
