Last guy I remember that got waived this early was Wade Baldwin with the Grizzlies. He had attitude issues dating back to college and got cut at training camp of his second year after being the 17th pick the year before.

Developed Murray then moved him for a lottery protected pick & two other future firsts from a young playoff team on the rise who will still have both Trae & Murray under contract in those years
