The Official NBA Season Thread: Free Agency Day

Props to the Brooklyn front office for sticking it out. I thought they were overplaying their hand and I didn't think that there was a suitor out there who was willing to give up this much capital for Bridges. I still think this is a wild overpay but I like the fit for the Knicks roster.

Has Durant hit journeyman, "I'm getting passed around the league" status? Never thought I would see the day. If Durant does end up in Houston though this might mean there was a fire sale in Phoenix and Book might be available soon.

I think Brunson is a legit 1A/1B guy but Im so down on Randle as his playoff co-star I feel like they should've waited for someone else if that is the haul they are selling

Deep team though assuming they keep OG, instant ECF contender

Like Thibs plays rookies anyways

Good pickup for them, Thibs like what we need rookies for? We got Taj Gibson if we need plug in minutes :pimp:

The knicks are gonna let hartenstein walk!??? After he said he’ll take a paycut to stay? :smh:

Bridges gonna fit right in. He’s a Thibs guy and plays every game, defends. Liked Knicks better last year than any iteration with Randle.

Hartenstein was great last year, he should be a priority for lots of teams

Rockets are trying to reach for shortcuts and I don’t like it. We not gonna get KD. And we just gave away a likely really high 2025 first round pick. Wtf
Welcome to the new CBA

The shortcut moves will be plentiful and abound across the league

Rockets know more than anyone that KD is bouncing from the suns next year at the latest for one last run. So that pick can be juicy
