The Official NBA Season Thread: Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

The Cs were the best team in the NBA when they got going & they were thisclose to getting eliminated  Tatum had one of the all time great playoff performances to save them. It’s a shame they didn’t complete the run because I think that game is gonna get forgotten over time.

Bucks roster is complete. They’re coming out of the east as long as their big 3, Lopez & Portis are available.

Other teams are getting better. You can’t just stay complacent if you want to maximize Giannis time there.

Knew that porter deal sounded too good to be true lol

But it’s a case where I actually have to say it’s a deal that makes sense, at the expense of the player

Said player has proved to do a lot of weird stuff. Hope he gets all that money

Teams will absolutely copy it. They always do. Going to be one way teams/owners try to wrestle back some sense of control.

And you know the PA is not happy he signed this kind of deal. Just opens the door.
Embiid’s extension has injury protections in it, as does Zion’s. Owners have always had options to get around full guarantees, but obviously if the player doesn’t give them a reason then the owners have no leg to stand on.

Even going years back, Amare would’ve signed a similar deal with the Suns if New York wasn’t desperate.

Continuation from Josh Hart's unique contract with the Pelicans.
