De'aaron Fox is in season 8 and is playing the best ball of his life. Thats why I always feel like we should judge players based off age instead of seasons played. Most ball players are going to play they best ball from the ages of 26-33ish. Part of the reason why we should be patient with young players but also not overhype them either.

This is why I'll never understand NBA GM's obsessions with age for prospects

They penalize guys staying in college longer, refining and polishing their game more in the process, while elevating the much rawer but physically gifted and more talented young guys off potential.

Feel you've gotta take it case by case.
