The Official NBA Season Thread: I’m like Jayson Tatum in the Olympics I'm not playing

SneakerProSr. SneakerProSr.

This is an interesting discussion. But go look at all the top 5ish players in these rankings that were 1 & dones/post graduate)

Almost all of them who came out after their post HS graduate year were first round picks at the least.

Not the real young core...

RYC keeps reloading. We’ll figure it out.

Quiet as kept, the Real Young Core we used to go back n forth about years ago…all play together and are the #1 seed in the west.

The RYC y’all were backing all play in various cities right now. Go figure.

Highly doubt that. And he was a top recruit leaving his sr year of high school. So this is def different and unprecedented.

A top 3 HS recruit is damn near almost always going to hit the Lotto. It’s only a matter of like 12 months from the end of sr year to draft day.

How y’all think Cam Reddish still went that high

There was a complete overreaction by the draft “experts” to his first 5-6 g league games (he only played 12 total) that I don’t think happens if he goes to UCLA. You’d think he’d be graded on a bit of a curve playing against men…AND he really turned around and put up some strong performances to finish off.

This is one case where an eye test should have been weighed against a 12-game sample size of analytics. Don’t know how his stock dropped THAT much.

I remember when the Nets had all the leverage & had no reason to cave to their stars demands... Just sit them they said

I think I'm alone on this Kings hate train. Let me know when anybody else wants join. Tickets gonna be hard to get this time next year.

Why would there be a need to hate the Kings?
