Portland says no. They trade away all their young talent (sharpe, A. Simons) as well as Grant (2 starters) for Beal who’s under max contract until 2026-2027.
Who says no? I’m actually looking for some extra draft compensation from the Wiz w/ this scenario. They could easily watch KP go for nothing; just the same as Dallas did with Brunson.
Portland gotta do something for Dame. Find a defensive anchor type for the 4 spot and go back to the playoffs. That’s a dynamic backcourt for Portland to get behind. Dame, Beal & Nurk their big 3? Could do worse.
Wiz the definition of middling. Cut the ties to these vets getting them nowhere but capped out and do a real makeover. The trade essentially gives them a new starting rotation sans a center.
young bull starting to put it together
I am happy to see him flourish but due to his success on a new team you already know what time THEY are going to be on with it
Finally out of that toxic environment and is doing well.
Happy for him
He's quietly putting it together in a no pressure environment. Love to see it.
They didn’t let the youngin grow and got rid of him. Toxic!!
You know it.
Had to get away from that toxic environment.
Well Grant is an UFA this summer. They could lose him for nothing.Portland says no. They trade away all their young talent (sharpe, A. Simons) as well as Grant (2 starters) for Beal who’s under max contract until 2026-2027.
The white privilege whistle
That’s definitely the reason he’s hating tooIt’s actually close. IMO a Finals W+FMVP this year would put him over KG idcidcidc
Unserious posterImagine saying “Portland owes it to Dame to try and put together a team ready to compete for the playoffs” then suggesting giving up Simons, Sharpe in exchange for Bradley Beal’s albatross of a contract through 2027 is the answer.
