he's had a great, long career above most others
the maligning & attempt to diminish his contributions/career is one of the nastiest things i've witnessed recently. all because a bunch of entitled lakers fans behaved ugly last season. and here you are supporting that

you don't have to consider russell westbrook to be one of the best players of all time in order to respect his career. i ain't even down with all that coddling stuff, but the revisionism/attempt to rewrite his legacy is crazy to me

Him being a hall of fame never had anything to do with the things people were saying about him.
In short people have always questioned his shooting, efficiency, and decision making.
Calling those things out doesn't mean someone is diminishing his career accomplishments.
He is a hall of fame, sure.
But he also suffers in the departments listed above.
Both things can be true.
It's really that simple.
