Sources: Nets finishing deal to hire Udoka as HC
The Nets are progressing on the hiring of suspended Celtics coach Ime Udoka, sources told ESPN.www.espn.com
The independent law firm probe into Udoka found that he used crude language in his dialogue with a female subordinate prior to the start of an improper workplace relationship with the woman, an element that significantly factored into the severity of his one-year suspension, sources told ESPN in September.
Those investigative findings -- which described verbiage on Udoka's part that was deemed especially concerning coming from a workplace superior -- contributed to what was an unlikely pathway to his reinstatement as Celtics coach in 2023, sources said.
The power dynamic associated with a superior's improper relationship with a staff member was the primary finding and policy violation cited in the law firm's report, which was commissioned by the Celtics and completed early last week, sources said.
Mans was at his job thoughSo they was talking freaky to each other before they started smashing. How dare he.
Well deserved. Tsai is scum.
he basuraHe's a clown with the luxury of hiding in the owner's booth and never having a microphone shoved in his face. His politics should face the same scrutiny as any player or coach

Of course not. Never finished an entire movie, an entire video clip, an entire book. Just form a quick opinion from a surface level understanding of anything and off to the races. If he and his type had the ability to finish and understand something he'd be a different person.Bomani Jones made this point...

Willing to bet he didn't
He kinda admitted he didn't
what was the point of the celtics suspending him instead of firing him only for him to walk to the nets
Yeah ok.Without context I'm not killing him. If he was on some "what that throat do" type **** ok but most of the time in these situations it's men and women flirting back and forth and it grows into more. She was obviously feeling him and giving him the greenlight.
Yeah I know these dudes are probably lying on about how much "knowledge" they ingest, especially booksOf course not. Never finished an entire movie, an entire video clip, an entire book. The Nets did their "due diligence" for 20 minutes on Udoka and then hired him.
Member when Matt said it was so bad the Ime wouldn’t coach again….Gonna need Matt Barnes' 2 cents here
Saving money. If they fired him, they still would have had to pay him. Now that someone else is going to employ him, the Celts are off the hook.what was the point of the celtics suspending him instead of firing him only for him to walk to the nets
