The Official NBA Season Thread: I’m like Jayson Tatum in the Olympics I'm not playing

Probably would have to come up with a package. We need Myles Turner more than ever now.

lakers definitely need someone who can start at the 5.. doesn't even need to be someone as talented as turner, just someone who can affect shots at the rim while being stuck on opposing bigs –javale and dwert types like they had during the bubble run. even during his Pels days, that team paired him with omer asik and boogie so he didn't have to play at center exclusively.

Let’s revisit this @sohi 23

What are you doing here pmatic pmatic ?

AD was weird and in and out the entire time he was in New Orleans. He never showed for 1 second before he became a Laker that any of that was going to change.

To his, (somewhat credit) I do think he plays harder on a consistent basis and especially was better in that regard this year. This is pretty much who he's always been. He's still a damn good player.

The Bron press conference was as a little interesting but he’s just broke. Getting swept is demoralizing. I wouldn’t expect him to go out like that.

However. He’s probably never going to get this far again in the playoffs with the team he’s on. They’d have to do some crazy things to make them a contender next year. Other West teams will do the same.

Going to watch your son his entire college career sitting courtside with some wine :hat.

Not a bad life.

Once Bron retire I’m retiring. Just going to compare every new superstar to Bron like Jordan fans and turn into the thing I hate the most.

Be just like y’all old heads.
Do teachers still get pensions when they retire?

they can get away with AD playing the 5. not that many true centers in the league. definitely need one on the roster just in case you go up against joker or embiid.
and wtf was mo bamba?

I think Anthony Davis is the best defender in the league but under no circumstance am I taking him ahead of jokic

Dude said he would take Jokic over AD as a #1 option tho…. But if your a team that already has a superstar caliber wing/ball handler Jokic impact is nowhere near as vital

And his flaws are enhanced

He can't create a thing for himself on offense. The game is about buckets.
One day we'll have a talk in here on how we value offensive impact and defensive impact in basketball and if ppl view them as equal or one more than the other

There's 2 way players who aren't better than certain players but it's always used as a crutch to prop them up

Nuggets just the better team but blown opportunity for Bron and most likely his last good look at getting 1 more ring. The lapses in all 4 games were very costly

Crazy, 20 years in, we still expect Prime level play and it’s still Championship of bust

Not sure if Kyrie is possible for Lakerd but if he is, go for it, let Bron play 45-55 games in reg szn, get in playoffs and try for 1 last run

You been calling that man a glorified trash man for some time. Talk your talk
It was all good when you still had to have at least two people looking at Bron at all times. Empty Stat King.

And that's who he is. It's always a convenient point to make when he shoots tour dates and then stands around waiting for damn near 40 year old Bron to set the table for him.
