Wemby doesn’t even have an injury history to suggest that he would be injury-prone going forward. Just a bunch of dudes talking and/or hoping for the worst for the young man,which is sad. :smh:
He didn't have injuries this past season or have anything chronic, but he did have injuries in seasons before.

Nothing major but he does have a history of being in & out of the lineup.

As with most generational prospects, his camp had him pegged for the league as a young child so some of that was likely precautionary.

But he’s on the team that probably pioneered load management.

So I’d be surprised if he’s over 30 mpg & will sit out most back 2 backs.

The “rookie wall” that guys hit is always just fatigue because the NBA schedule is grueling. Even for vets, like the old Warriors had that death lineup but they only ran it to close the 2nd & 4th quarters because Dray can’t play center for 82 games + playoffs.

So the Spurs will be very cautious with him in general, but especially early on until he has a few years under their weight training & conditions regimen.

They hated on Kobe so much when he got to the league it made me root for him
