The Official NBA Season Thread: I’m like Jayson Tatum in the Olympics I'm not playing

What’s $6M when your dad is worth a billion? And if he was like that, he’d make that on his getting drafted in the first round.

If he were ready, that money wouldn’t even play into his decision.

Except he's projected everywhere as 2nd round at best and what kid of a legend doesn't want to pave their own way in at least some aspects?

Experiencing college in SoCal with that money as a kid > alternative of $1M salary to he buried on a bench.

But, both players have a right to the loose ball. Ausar didn't want it as bad as Donte. Do we want players to decide the games or officials to insert themselves into a completely broken scramble?

If the scramble involves a player diving through another player's lower half and taking him out I think you gotta make that call

Going into this season, that wasn’t his plan. Post heart surgery, that still wasn’t the plan. Big Bron himself said he could be a Laker today, so let’s not make it about “getting his own money.” All this humility is coming from bronny not playing well

Oh and making a million in the NBA >> whatever he’s making playing 20 minutes per game on one of the worst teams in a weak conference. Long story short, too much pressure on the kid by both Bron and the world. Hopefully he can get better and make it to the next level

The plan is irrelevant. I'm talking reality.

2nd part is subjective.

Bronny had a major cardiac event and heart surgery in the summer leading up to the season. The fact that he returned at all is a win.

A lot of blogs just want to dunk on him and Bron and it's nasty.
Bron said himself bronny could be a laker easily. After he came back from the surgery. He put that pressure on him just as much as the media

There has never been an identity with the KD line.

One year it’s this, one year it’s that. They have been all over the place.

Think that’s been the biggest issue with KD and Nike.

I mean the company has basically been living of their first 20 years for the past 20 years. Idk the numbers but what modern classics have they made since early to mid 00's? Mostly all forgettable
