The Official NBA Season Thread: I’m like Jayson Tatum in the Olympics I'm not playing

I was wondering if it would make sense to trade KAT for a younger PG and other pieces. Maybe Dejonte, Darius, heck even Brogdon. Obviously they won't be the only players involved as it will be a combination of players and picks.

If I were Minny, I would look at KAT's playoff track record and maybe favour depth and flexibility instead. They can get a decent return for KAT.

But KAT is always the one that needs to be traded

As I been saying the entire season: towns will be the scape goat

He’s been terrible and Naz is more than fine on a much cheaper deal. How is he going to be the scapegoat when he’s ****ting the bed as the 2nd option?

The Walton doc is a fantastic watch. Don’t get how anyone couldn’t be entertained by it.

RIP

Two of the funniest things I’ve ever heard from him:

1. If everyone was thinking the same thing then who was thinking at all?

2. This was the first year ESPN acquired the NBA and he was on the call with John Saunders. Big Dog, Glenn Robinson had left Milwaukee and was with Philly.
Big Dog goes to the cup and throws up a wild shot.

John Saunders — With a shot like that, Big Dog is trying to relive his Old Milwaukee days.

Walton - With a shot like that, it looks like Big Dog had an Old Milwaukee before the game.

I’m still laughing at that second one all these years later.

I don’t get what “revenge” Kyrie is taking on Boston. He said he would re-sign there, didn’t go to their Game 7 for the 2018 ECF, quit on the team in the playoffs the next year, then dipped. They didn’t screw him over in any way. If anything, it should be the Celtics getting revenge on him.
