The Official NBA Season Thread: Kings Fire Mike Brown

Only been five games, but since KAT returned the T'Wolves are a top 10 defense team (ninth).

Unfortunately they've been 27th in offense. The only teams below them are the Hornets, Spurs and Blazers.

Dubs and Lakers should be top favorites to come out of the west IMO
Would love to see Steph tie Bron & Kobe but if you look at the other teams in recent history that flipped a switch & got rolling (01 Lakers, ‘10 Cs, ‘11 Mavs) all of those teams were significantly above .500.

That certainly isn’t a prerequisite but looking at this current Warrior group we have 39 games of poor defense on the road, a lot of those with Wiggins, Dray & Looney all playing. It hasn’t mattered who was playing all season. It’s really inexplicable.

Coming out of the west would require them to win at least 1, more likely 2 road games in 3 straight series. After losing THIRTY road games in the regular season? Their best wing defender hasn’t played in months & isn’t in playoff shape?

I think it’s impossible, but that’s why we play the games

Tie Bron ?

Bron wasted a year of himself. Him and AD had a sit down with Russ and got it in motion. That's my dawg but he had a big hand in that.

Pelinka ultimately has to pull the trigger. Unless he's big time beta and Bron forges his signature.

If that's how you wanna put it. The players run the league. Just like Bron got AD to LA. Kawhi got PG to the Clippers. The KD and Kyrie mess in Brooklyn. All the way back to the big 3 in Miami.

Of course they do. That doesn't absolve the GM from seeing an obvious terrible move like the Brick one and putting their foot down. Somebody gotta fall on the sword and it damn sure isn't gonna be Bron. So Pelinka it is.
