Ehhhh…Harden changed teams and roles multiple times since he was THAT and while he’s not scoring as much, he has been elite in that facilitator role (he’s more of a PG now than a SG now anyway). Russ has been relegated to being 6th man that is glued to the bench in the 4th quarter of close games while only being like 6 months older than Harden.

Both were former MVPs but Russ has had a much more violent and abrupt fall from grace IMO.

Averaging 11 apg. Would lead the league if he hadn’t missed time.

Your PG is backing up peloton Beverly on one of the worst teams in the league. He’s a staple in the trade machine. He had a foot out the league until he swallowed his pride. Can’t get more irrelevant than that.
 
Can’t tell if Thibs is transforming Randle into a Butler like player or not

But since we there, Harden shot 40% with 4 turnovers in the playoffs. Real Russ like. He tricked y'all. His game was smoke and mirrors. 🤷🏽
 
A Harden vs Russ futility debate wasn’t what I was looking for this Christmas, but I’m here for it

It’s not deflecting. Harden still playing at a high level. Just not an MVP level.

We aren’t about to compare playoff resumes of a guy who never made it past the first round as the man to Harden. Not on black jesus birthday

I don’t think mentioning Westbrook is deflecting because the discussion was about the biggest fraud and you’re arguing it is Harden while the rest of us are saying it’s Russ
 
The sixers went to a 2-3 zone with harden and Harrell on the floor, brunson dribbled on the perimeter standing still until 9 on the shot clock and the sixers still gave up a dunk.
