Oversaturation really killed the creativity aspect for jerseys over the last 7-8 years since Nike took over.

Having to come up with new designs each year just accelerated the whole minimalistic wave to it's end point where you now get the same safe, bland/boring and generic designs year in and year out. If it's not throwbacks or vintage inspired jerseys, it's flat out

The same thing happened with their soccer jerseys years back before they decided to step back from the sport altogether.
