Very wild career arc for Crocs. Came on the scene and were white, hipster cool for a while. Then for about a decade they were derided as something only adults who had given up on life would wear or kids who couldn’t figure out shoe tying wore. Now they’re full on, mainstream pop-culture popular.

Use to work in the mall back in the days around early 00s and knew the mgr running the crocs store. Business was straight boomin. He had to take a break from school for awhile to work full time. Think he got stock options as well as compensation. I assume he made a nice chunk when they went public.
