Lakers package isn’t good enough no matter how you cut it. The only value Russ has to anyone is that he’s an expiring contract, but Brooklyn is actually a good team, and are so far over the cap that him coming off the books doesn’t even matter.

And they have KD on their team. They want to try to stay good.
