Griz have solid guys outside ja and team plays well even without him. He is a good player, but I have him a notch below guys like yanni, steph, kd, etc

What has Embiid done to be in that group that Ja hasn't? Ja's name is big. I hear more kids talking about Ja than Embiid. Ja's whole swag and flashiness gets peoples attention and he's gone further than Embiid in the playoffs.

If the non-basketball watching, fat man sitting on his couch in Alabama doesn't know who he is I wouldn't consider that person a superstar.

The PG/Kawhi Clippers era made me more aware of the difference between superstars and really good players. Although their counting numbers may look similar a lot of the time, Kawhi is in a different class in terms of how he actually impacts winning.

I can't get with that. Level of play combined with popularity makes you a superstar. What the public thinks definitely plays a role. That's who's buying tickets and merch. A.I was a superstar after like his Rookie year. That's the impact Ja has had.
