What do the Lakers do with the AD at center conundrum?

It's like he's fine at Center mostly until he runs into a Jokic but you gotta kinda plan you'll have to meet them again so..idk

Lmaooo at Bron tryna to act like he’s considering retirement 😂, if there’s one person who is going to demand an outrageous farewell tour it’s him

He ain’t fooling a soul
he's gonna pull a tom brady. i definitely can see hoopin til he's in his mid 40s as long as his body holds up. i think he is good with taking a back seat and becoming a role guy who can contribute. probably, would try and play with bronny and mentor him up close

Here come the cutting edge journalism questions.

“You barely made the Playoffs, what does it mean to you to make it to the WCF?”

“You guys had 3games you let slip away, what does it feel like?”

“You guys might have played your last game together, what does it feel like to be moving on?”

“You guys had that one right there, what does it mean to get swept”

“Nikola, what’s the first thing you feel when they say Finals?”

“Nikola, you talked about saying you weren’t scared of Lebron this year, what does it feel like to beat him?”

“Nikola, talk about what you’re feeling right now?”

Reaves & Rui are both restricted and will both be retained at whatever price.

They’re going to actually get lucky with D’Lo. None of the cap space teams are going to pursue him hard so they should be able to retain him on a good deal easily.

They’re probably getting unlucky with Dennis. They don’t have his full bird rights & he likely gets more than $4M on the market.

So you lose Dennis but retain Reaves, Rui, and D’Lo. D’Lo will be on a reasonable contract & will eventually be traded by February for a guard that can actually play past the 2nd round.

Bron/AD will get their off-season surgeries, come back healthy & the team will be in a far position to deal with any future injuries now that they have good role players. Bron won’t have to play 38-40 mins when AD is out & vice versa.

They’ll be right back in the mix.

I’m far less worried about them compared to a team like the Warriors.

between warriors and lakers, idk who's in the better situation next year.

Bron will be 39 years old next post season and showed signs of aging this year. Bron played 40+ minutes a game in the WCF, Rui and Reaves played about as well as you could ask for from role players, AD had his moments, and the lakers still got swept.

Gonna be interesting to see how much Rui, Reaves and D'Lo get this off season. They definitely played their way into bigger contracts.
