The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

Bucks may have been a forgotten team this offseason but they should still be there under contention.
Dame, Trent, Middleton, Giannis, the Lopez as the starters with Wright, Prince and Bobby off the bench. That's a solid 8 man rotation.

I don't know much about Beauchamp, Andre Jackson or AJ to be honest and Pat Cunningham is likely an end of the rotation player at this point.

The three major concerns are health, having a backup Center (since Lopez is 36), and of course Doc Rivers.

It will also be interesting to see if Dame from last year was just an off year, or is this the Dame we will see moving forward.

Right now, Boston, Bucks, Philly, and Knicks are the contenders on the east and everyone else is a tier below them.

Doc gonna be blaming the concessions vendors for costing them games by January

I think the Pacers will be strong in the regular season again. But I don’t consider them a “contender”.

Agreed. I think they're missing a true superstar. Kind of what Toronto was before Kawhi. I'd put the Pacers, Orlando and Cavs on the same tier.

I was thinking the same thing. People hating on the AE2 but they look great.
Companies have been releasing a Kobe type silhouette for the last 15 years. I appreciate going out the box while keeping some minor elements as a nod to the OGs

Clippers sources seem pretty certain that the team is not interested in LaVine.

At this point I just think we’re the go to team for agents to try to use for leverage plays
He'd have to show he's healthy, but he seems like a good buy-low trade candidate for the Clippers.

The Clippers have their pick right? This is a win-win season for them.

If Kawhi is magically healthy all year, can potentially make play-in.

If Kawhi gets hurt, you get a top 5 pick.

This wasn't really heated, I was listening to it the other day. Gil definitely going extra defending Bronny but I get it.

Today's episode was one of their best, kept me entertained all the way through.

Yea enjoyed the convo in this topic. Seems like Kenyon was speaking a little more honestly finally. Waiting in Gil now.
