The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

The middle of this list always interests me. It's filled with "I get why the model would have him there" but also "this guy is 100% going in cause we just know"

For reference, Mitch Richmond's probability was 70%. This list cuts off after Klay, but we know a bunch of guys below that will be in HOF position when it's all said and done.

Westbrook better have the Big O present him at his HOF induction. If the Big O didn’t get behind that triple double foolishness he was doing, people of consequence would have called it out for what it was. Russ still would have got in off his early OKC career but not at a 99% clip. No way.

Oscar probably be 94 or 95 years old by the time Westbrook is eligible.

Don’t really understand how you get Cryrie at 93% and then have guys like Luka and Tatum at 41 and 32 when they have more accolades.

Booker at like 5% is egregious.

Championships definitely hold a heavy weight in whatever algorithm they're using.

All this era talk, all I know is we seen Lebron put up same dominant numbers where he Won and lost against the 73 pt a game defensive minded Pistons teams and the current era with prime Splash bros 135 pt Game Warriors 🤷🏽‍♂️

It’s a formula that’s existed on basketball reference forever. I think it takes longevity, all star, all nba, # of seasons played, traditional stats, and championships.

Kyrie has been playing in the league 6-7 years before Tatum and Luka, and is already a champ.

Obviously those guys will be 100% as their careers go on. This is like the 2nd time in a few weeks I’ve seen twitter accounts rage bait people who view it as player rankings :lol

Embiid below 50%

Is there any retired mvps that haven’t made hof?
