The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

Bro.

San Francisco/Oakland/Bay Area is not a Small market

Toronto is HUGE too btw.

the bay area is a densely populated area but no free agent wanted to come play in GSW prior to the steph era and joe lacob buying the team. nor was the team featured on national broadcasts. webber and arenas were our most successful draft picks and they wanted out as soon as they were FAs.

winning and building a core creates the market, not just the size of the population.

Make the ball heavier. If the ball is heavier people will chuck fewer 3s and drive more.
Give the defense 1 point every time the offense misses a corner 3. Maintain the high scoring while empowering the defense. Win/win :nthat:

I think when he said small market he just meant teams that historically aren’t championship winners. GSW is built different though because they built a dynasty but it would also apply to like Cleveland, Toronto and Milwaukee since 2010. Perhaps Dallas too.

This Bulls-Sixers game has stupid finish written all over lol only 6 minutes left for the shenanigans

Brooklyn really has some of the best role players in the league. Can’t believe KD wanted a trade

Norm Powell just illustrated the disadvantage to being a two-footed jumper only. Not ideal for fast breaks.
