The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

I’m happy as hell Russ off the team but no reason to kick em while he’s down.

We knew all of this from the jump but they waited 1.5 years to trade him. Why have a vampire on your squad for that long? Makes y’all look even dumber.

Russ coming off as the “good guy” is hilarious tho. Listen to his interviews before coming to the Lakers vs the exit interview last year. I’ve never seen a player take less responsibility and accountability for his own play.

Russ would be happy as hell if he played the 4th quarter but the team lost & on the other hand would sulk if he didn’t play the 4th but the team won. He was a cancer.

But like I said, no reason to kick him while he’s down. He’s gone now. Thank the Lord. That’s someone else’s issue now.

Raise your hand if you are really surprised Brooklyn didn't win a chip, or really compete for one, before they lit the dynamite on that experiment?

He has never missed a game in his career. 400 straight including the playoffs. The anti-KD and Kyrie when it comes to health. Would be cool to see him traded to another contender.
completely forgot that two of the season were shorten because of Covid

Yeah, dude's durability is outstanding

Like I said, I would have preferred to lose CP.

Russ was a disaster with the Lakers no doubt, but they doing too much with all these "quotables". :smh:

Windhorst with his Humpty Dumpty *** was talking greasy on SC with SVP too.
