In the end of the day you play to win. Rings should matter. I get it though, team construction isnt on the player. Grey area.

But yea MVP award is way different. People just don’t like when someone wins an award multiple years in a row, unless you’re a top 10 player ever.

For real. And MVP discourse now is primarily a player A vs Player B thing and there’s just more important stuff going on in basketball than that.

I care way more about the western conference bunched up seeding than this MVP debate
