You would presumably get more for D Mitch this summer than next, right? If you get rid of him now then the receiving team would have at least two years but if you wait until next summer then it would only make sense for teams on his “list” to pull the trigger because it could be a 1-year rental.

id assume if they trade him that he’s signing the extension with his new team upon arrival. Honestly we don’t even know if it’s Mitchell. Or Allen or whomever. All I know is Windy doesn’t tease the local fan base like that so there’s for sure smoke somewhere and a deal is happening soon.
