The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

Jaylen doesn’t like being given the basket/dunk, needs to earn it? :lol

Really don't see the Grizzlies being able to dig themselves out of the hole. Lakers got very fortunate several teams tanked to go with them winning at a high clip after the bad start last season. Don't see that happening this season.

season definitely not over — if they underperform these next 10 games, will be difficult though.

But, 40-17 or 35-22 are attainable (just won 1 of those games). They’ve hit 11 game win streaks in late Dec - thru January the last two seasons. Very possible, but need some luck and most importantly health.
The Rockets are young & you can almost count on Zion missing time at some point, but unfortunately you can say the same thing about Ja. He’s an acrobat and that has historically come at a cost.

A lottery pick wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if it comes to that.

Still may have an outside shot with the amount of games left. Smart and Kennard should be back soonish too.

Ja gonna be the best player on the floor in most games.

They gonna have to play around .700 ball the rest of the way to get to ~42-43 wins.

They already lost Clark and Adams and given Ja's recent history the last few years he's likely gonna miss some games as well.

EYE don't see IT.

I don't see none of the top 8 in the west dropping out. That lottery pick would be good for Grizz and the warriors should be preparing for the lottery too. Suckas.
