The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Night

:lol at PG

Grant Hill’s ankle wa literally on threads when the Magic busted Mike and the Wizards.

Mike still went at Grant Hill and gave him grace after the game.

Tonight's game for the Celtics is essentially an elimination game from the NBA Cup too. They have to play this like a game seven.
Joe Maz got it queued up

podcast should be on a min restriction too

Paul George has the talent of a superstar but the mindset of just another one of the guys on the team smh. Great guy though, love the podcast.

Im Not Surprised This Response Lacks Depth In Thought.
It absolutely doesn't. Artest going into the stands was not due the shove from Wallace after he was fouled hard. Artest reacted from something else completely unrelated to that play. Trying to pin it on Wallace is a cheap way of trying to absolve Artest of any accountability.

Is This Not Absolving Wallace Of Accountability?

If He Doesnt Overract To The Foul And They Get Into The Scuffle On Court, Artest Is Never On The Scorers Table To Get Hit With The Drink To Begin With.

No. It's not absolving Wallace. Wallace's reaction was to the play. He shouldn't have reacted. The drink incident was separate from that play though. So we're saying Wallace was the reason the fan threw the drink and because of Wallace, Artest is allowed to lose all rationale about going into the stands?

You never go into the stands, period. Artest reacted completely separate of the events that led up to that.

Wallace shoves Artest because of a hard foul by Artest with 15 seconds left in a 15-point game: If you’re giving Wallace partial blame, you’d need to go back 15 more seconds before the shove and account for why Wallace was angry. The Malice in the Palace didn’t begin as we know it until Artest goes into the stands.

No That's What You Are Saying

You Are Kinda Getting At The Point I Originally Made. You Are Viewing Both Incidents As Separate When They Are NOT. The Foul, Scuffle, Artest Going To The Table And Getting Hit With A Drink, Running Into The Stands Are All Tied Together, They Arent Isolated Events.

If Wallace Just Takes The Foul In Stride In A Game They Are Getting Blown Out, And Misses His Two Free Throws, Maybe Just Maybe Everyone Else Isnt In The Right Position For Chaos That Follows.

That Dont Mean What Artest Did Wasnt Worthy Of The Lengthiest Suspension, Just Noted That Wallace Getting Six Games When His Action Are The First Dominio To Fall In The NBA's Worst Incident Ever Isnt Just. They Just Are Missing The Forest For The Trees.
