some argue that getting the one ring was worth it.. but idk, judging by how disgruntled the fan base is currently, i wouldn’t say so.
None of those things they threw into the trade are particularly special outside of BI who has missed almost as much time as AD himself. There is absolutely no reason to think they’d be in some significantly better position now if they hadn’t made the trade. And they absolutely would not have won a title in the meantime, albeit a Bubble Chip*.

Prior to the Russ trade they had the makeup of a championship contender if (Big If) they could be healthy. The second they made the Russ trade, that went away.
 
Golden State needs to come up off those young guys. What’s the point of just holding them on the roster?

I could be misreading the market, but the kids have little to no value. Warriors need another 6'7 guy (who doesn't?) to help them out.
