Granite the Thunder eventually lost so it doesnt count but this Giddey pass at 1:17. Nobody else would even attempt that

Gobert dominated but Kat didnt play that well for a guy going against a team whose only 7footer is Poku at 190 lbs. Seems like the blueprint is to put a 3 or even a 2 on him, made him feel obligated to try to drive or post instead of taking the shots he normally does (41% 3 pt shooter)

Dort sucked last night. Maybe pressing to prove he deserves his x8 contract increase or just general variance

Giddey and Shai were stars as expected. Giddeys usage is 16% when they were both on the court together. Also his 3 looks way better

Lakers still have terrible perimeter defense in all these scenarios.

Offensively can’t Thomas Bryant do all the things Turner can?

I struggle to see any fit issues with Bron-AD plus 3 guys who can shoot from 3. That sounds exactly like what you’d want.

And if Dwight/Javale were occasionally closing games why can’t Turner?

if you could find a way to get Rozier and Turner

rozier is good, Pat bev is good, lebron will be good when it matters.
and then you got tons of rim protections if things break down.

similar to the bucks defense.

KAT was in the hospital & lost a ton of weight. Put some of it back on before the season but it may take a minute for him to get a rhythm.

Even at his best he struggled at times against wings though, so it’s definitely something to keep an eye on.
