In order to promote its new Wii version of NCAA Football, EA held a competition on February 14, 2008 until March 14, 2008 for fans to vote on their favoriteNCAA Division I college team mascot. The winner�of the competition was Michigan State's Sparty which will be�featured on the cover art for the Wii.Arkansas's Darren McFadden is the cover athlete for the Xbox 360, Boston College's Matt Ryan is the cover athlete for the PS3, California's DeSeanJackson is the cover athlete for the PS2 and West Virginia's Owen Schmitt is the cover athlete for the PSP.
The Features
*NCAA Football 09 will unveil the all-new Break Away Animation Engine which allows gamers to break in and out of movesgiving the user more direct control as well as instant influence and responsiveness on the field
*A new feature being brought back is crowd playing a factor in the game, stadiums will be louder and much more dynamic; allowing user customizable music andreactions to specific actions (breakaways and such)
*The field and sidelines will be more realistic than previous games like having much more backup players on the sidelines, cheerleaders, and field degradingduring the game. Mascots will also be user influenced after a touchdown
*New college player models, including more than 50 alternate uniforms
*New college specific tackling engine
*The ability to return missed field goals
*Bobble catches
*Interactive TD celebrations
*Clear Visors (Nike & Oakley)

So far we know:
Oregon has two alternates. In all they have white top, emerald green top, yellow top, and white/black
Tennessee has all orange
Boston college has white on white�and�one alternate which is maroon on white.
Florida State has all black and all garnet
Florida alternates are all�blue, white/orange
Clemson alternates are�all purple, white/purple
Georgia has there famous black top�
