Goodness. Tucker was trash. Period.

Stopped it after about 15 minutes.

Yeah man, pretty disappointed. His career fell off so hard so fast. One of the few instances where religion DIDN'T have a positive impact on someone's life lol

Fell off? Dude actually got to enjoy his success while he was hot and not burn out. He's still alive, raising his son and active in the industry. How can anybody say how somebody else faith hasn't helped them in a positive way without knowing them?

Enjoy success? lol you mean enjoy IRS breaking his back and fam trying to run him broke?

Chris Tucker has fallen off, after the first rush hour, he was commanding 20 million a movie, only a handful of people make that and besides Will Smith MAYBE Denzel I don't know many black actors/ actresses getting money like that PER PICTURE. He could've parlayed that into something much more, instead he got comfortable, got in trouble with IRS and basically did rush hour 3 as a payday(25 MILLION) instead of doing it right after the 2nd. Maybe he is happier now and thats awesome, but to say he didn't fall off??? C'mon man

I've never seen someone with such potential, fall by the wayside, I mean can anyone else name an actor that was commanding 20 million while in their prime to just have it all slip away like that?? Dude was basically an A Lister of one movie franchise, directed by the biggest hack and starring alongside a jackie chan in his prime...some people get lucky and just dont know it. Been saying Tucker should've done more than just rush hour films to keep that momentum, even if he played the same character in those films, people would've ate it up. I mean Jackie was doing the shanghai series with owen, basically doing the same stuff, and people ate that up.

Yeah, chris tucker seemed to just disappear for a long time then I saw him show up in Silver Linings Playbook. Was surprised to see him in something.

Just finished up Rectify. Pretty good,. It's extremely slow, but I liked it.

Also, Abigail Spencer is in it.

that was his life after Rush hour

That was his life in headlines after Rush Hour. Whoring yourself out to blockbuster movies comes with huge price, after the big payday. Some comedians just don't have that kinda stamina, and their aspirations change over time. The industry kills the spirit of alot of great comedians. He's had a great run.

Was watching This Is Spinal Tap earlier. Forgot how dumb & funny that movie is lol

I still gotta watch that Chris Tucker stand up, guys at my job were telling me it was funny but then again theyre older
