The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

Boy Becca was down AF until she wasn't.

Lionel wanted no parts of that lovely pale skinned Pony :rollin

Now me, "yes Becca...I would love a taste"

I was definitely prepared to shade TF out of this but I have to say, it's surprisingly original and pretty funny. Several laughs.
Dope.

Some major one liners :rollin
Impressed

DWP was super dope.

I thought the Season finale was pretty dramatic(in a wack way) but they killed the Season for the most part.

sidenote: Catastrophe is back on Amazon, new Season 3 is up for a few days now.

Made it to episode 5 of Dear White People. Great episode, went from laughing my *** off at the Iyanla Vanzant parody to pissed the hell off at the ending. Too real.

And my guy Giancarlo stay working, buddy is a part of like 5 tv shows that's airing or aired this year. :hat

Yeah, Train to Busan is that fire. Wasn't expecting that at all.

Even shed a single thug tear at the end. The feels were real.

Not on Netflix, Hulu, or Prime...but if you have Starz just checked out American God's pilot it looks like it might be a good series. Ian McShane is always good, cinematography is pretty cool. Only 1 episode right now though.

Any prime recommendations? I just got it a few weeks ago and recently binged the first season of 'Hand of God' at work. Good stuff

...3%, Goliath were also good.

You have to watch Sneaky Pete. So dope. Mad Dogs was also really good and if you like Love, on NETFLIX, then watch Catastrophe, it's brilliant writing great acting and the two leads have some really nice chemistry.

Sneaky Pete though first, definitely my favorite.

I started sneaky Pete but I couldn't get into it. Ive only seen the first two episodes, I might have to revisit though a few others have recommended it,

Put catastrophe on the watchlist, thanks

I want that amazon pilot, Oasis to get picked up but it's a science fiction show and probably won't get picked up. Cool concept though. It's about a science team that have landed on another planet and trying to set up a colony.

I just started watch 3%. So far so good. But I'm about to take off the dub on it. I rather read the subtitles than listen to the horrible voice acting these people be doing.

Yes to this! I thought it was a great pilot I have a feeling they will pick it up, but probably won't see the first season for 2 years or so... if sneaky Pete took 2 years after its pilot, pretty sure it's gonna take at least that long for a sci-fi show.

Didn't know it took that long for amazon shows to film their first seasons. Good info. I probably should vote for the show since I keep forgetting.

I may be off give or take a few months but they would need to finish casting, shoot it, edit it, etc. (they basically have only planned & shot the pilot). Not really sure what all else would be involved... I just remember sneeky Pete took forever, hand of God took about a year and a half for season 2. Who knows maybe they'll speed it up... just googled Oasis and Robb Stark had an interview saying he should know by next week.
