I might disagree about it being trash, but I do agree season 2 was kind of dissapointing... almost nothing different happened. I wondered where they were going to take the show in future seasons, after season 1 it seemed like they had no "end game" and so far they've proved me right. It feels like they are still character building and it feels more like a drama than a sci-fi show.

I just can't get anything of substance from it. Like, the scenery is absolutely stunning and they are showing some eye candy like a mother f'er in the way of Cities, Cultures, Architecture etc, and the good for me ends there. It's to, I don't know, colorful.
Every episode feels like the same story that is just told a different way. I get it, damn. I feel like they are shoving something into my head subliminally. I couldn't finish.
I was very dissapointed with what they gave me up to episode 5-6 and, I refuse to force feed that indigestible content into my headspace.
That's probably a little harsh and a lot dramatic but, I'm kind of pissed tbh[emoji]128545[/emoji]

I feel you, especially about the same story being told a different way. I've been trying to think how this show will play out in future seasons, and I'm drawing a blank... only 2 options either they kill all the sensates or sensates take over the world... I was dissapointed all through season 2, but I was livid after the last episode ( I guess its good for you that you didn't finish) they should have started the season with that... it's a shame we waited around 2 years for IMO a remake of season 1...

I wonder often the difference in what I expect from shows and what y'all expect. I honestly don't feel much let down by S8 and am enjoying the season so far. First season seemed to drag on for a while before they started to get a hang of their connection but now that they have all but mastered it and are flexing and stretching out I'm pleased with the show and am eager to see how it finishes up

I'm about halfway through season 2 and like it so far. The plot is moving towards something but it is slow and they are showing each person still living their lives.
