It's from the part where the cork on tongue rubs against the leather under the laceholes. I assumed all pairs are like that?

Hoping someone can help me out here, i got some dirt from my car on my air max's yesterday. Been scrubbing like crazy with the Jason Markks cleaner but the stain still wont budge. Anyone got any idea how i can get rid of these stubborn *** stains?
