I'm in the minority here as I actually dig the black/purple pair (and.NO, I'm NOT a Lakers fan. I'm from the Philly suburbs and we HATE the Lakers). But as an old time sneakerhead, this colorway, has a definite ACG vibe to it.

Are you sure that’s the shoe you’d compare the cushioning/feel to?

They look like they have almost the exact same cushioning setup/outsole as the Kobe 10’s. The setup doesn’t look similar at all to the AD Mids. Cushioning and materials look completely different.
