I can’t do the hi’s anymore while playing ball, they bother me. And I have tons of other lows I use but performance wise Kobe 9’s are my top three to play in.

I wouldnt suggest hooping in the 9 highs that are converted to lows. I doubt they will have the proper support for hooping.

There was this dude on IG named A1 or Aplus customs or something like that. He had a website where you would send him your kicks and he’d convert them and send it back. Not sure if he’s still around.

I almost went through with converting some X highs but I couldn’t do it

Yea, I don't rock mine on the court, it's more for day-to-day wearing to stunt. yes I'm one of the one's that still rock Kobe's casually.
I wouldn't hoop in highs, especially these since they restrict my lateral movement

Highs are great performers. I retired them from because they are just too nice to beat up but I might break out a pair tomorrow to hoop

Cant be that bad, just removing the cloth like material that didn’t provide anything other than looks anyways.

Plus, has to be cheaper to convert them than to buy a new pair.
