THE OFFICIAL NIKE KOBE FOOTWEAR THREAD: RIP LEGEND 1978-2020. MAMBA FOREVER | 8-24-24

i don't want to let the 11 go yet! It's been my favorite model. Let me cherish it for the rest of the year at least :(

The closer the release of the XII, the better the discounts will be on the XIs.

It's gonna be 2017... at this point, FLYKNIT shouldn't be considered "Elite" anymore... it's been the Copp Out for Kobe Elites the last few years.

Flyknit should be Standard if they're gonna use it now... not something you charge an extra $60 for.

I want to see something Doper for a change.

...Do we have any idea what "EP" stands for? Engineered - something....???

$160-$180 would concern me about the 12s.  Nike doesn't tend to leave $ on the table until they have to discount overstock.  $180 tells me these are going to be the same quality as the non-flyknit 10s.  I'm on the fence for the 12s anyway, since they'll be a model Kobe never wore.  $180/non-flyknit 10 quality would make these a definite no-go.  I would rather spend $220 on quality (remastered...whatever) Kobe retros, which I'm very confident will be released in the next 6-12 months.

After the way the 11s, FTB pack, and Mamba Days released...me and my wallet will be more than happy to only spend $220 or so on a retro Kobe that releases every month or two.

I agree with the black/black being an odd first cw but that price point and the fact that the KD 9s are so perfect has me thinking
I think the total black being the first Kobe 12 is kinda symbolic of his retirement.  The FTB pack went from white to almost all black (there was gold in the FTB 11).  Now that Kobe is retired...the first shoe will be total black-out.

That was a recurring theme with the 11s.  There was a Eulogy shoe.  A 4 horses of the apocalypse pack, and the FTB pack...all referencing the 'end.'  Makes sense they would start with a total black shoe now.

I believe EP is a standard over in Asia for releases.  Read somewhere that it's for the XDR outsole's on the shoes released in Asia.

EP huh?

Looking forward to seeing what Nike comes up with for the XII.

Yes, highs are back!

1. Traction (just stick to herringbone)

2. Full zoom or separate zoom airbags

3. Re-engineer FK, XI's felt stiff and transition wasn't great.  EM > FK

4. Low to the ground

C'mon man... yall act like yall New to this. (If you are New to this, then disregard, young'n. Lol)

Most people should know the Difference between a Fan Drawing/Concept, and something Legitimately Official.

I know it ain't tha real sample, but its the best Kobe concept I have ever seen and more close to a production sample, so I posted. Ain't nobody new to this

I wouldn't expect any real leaks to show up until maybe Oct/Nov. Usually it's about 2-3 months before RD that we see something, and the shoes don't drop until early next year.

Ion curr, if those were the real deal, I'd be lyke Nike u better take my money and estee effyu
