Draymond gets clown on here for his offensive deficiencies, but he’s the tone setter for their defense, facilitates their offense and makes Steph’s job easier.Their window doesn’t get extended after the 2016 debacle w/o him recruiting KD. He’s a big reason they’re 18-4 with the top defense….Y’all devalue him constantly on here just to slurp Steph. :smh:

THANK YOU...Anything to prop up their lightskin and green eyed savior.

Truly nasty work.

Steve is obviously the substantially better player, but Draymond has also been incredibly important to that organization. His impact does seem to get downplayed.

He's the best defensive player in the league who can basically guard 5 positions at times, while also being the offense's lead facilitator from the 5 spot. He's unicorn-ish in his own right.

Draymond has a good eye for offense but that is only magnified only because they don't have anyone else on the Warriors with such vision. also magnified because of Steph. it showed how lackluster he is once Steph was unavailable. he has a great I.Q. for setting offense but has a poor I.Q. in terms of individual offense. no wonder the defense sags off him.

Makes sense to me. Hard to see how Staple's is still open. Down here it seems like people just go there to print stuff, everything else is massively overpriced. Then OfficeDepot introduced those printers where you can email **** straight to the printer and go in and dont have to wait in line or talk to anyone and game over. Office Depot is otherwise on the verge of bankruptcy too. 9 cent black and whites and 60 cent color copies keeping those whole operations afloat.

Make of it what you will, but IMO

Steph Curry can avg 40, make every 3 pointer, whatever,

That team would fall apart if Draymond Green couldn't defend 1-5, and make plays on the other end.

What makes the warriors a juggernaut is their defense, not their offense and Day Day is obv the glue that holds the D together. They aren't nearly as scary if Draymond is replaced with an above average PF even if Steph is Steph.

tell us what will happen if we replace steph with an above average guard

Well no **** they'd be in the cellar lol

The point is, is that the Warriors defense TO ME (during the chip years, and now) is what makes them a juggernaut more so than their offense. You obviously need an elite offense to win big, duh and Steph is key to that,

but teams can't score on GSW and Day day is the primary reason for that.

Whatever, splitting hairs. They're both super important **** it lol

I'd say this is true to establish a culture but not necessarily to maintain one
You just have to have proof that the culture works for people to buy in

This is sort of true. Look the Knicks for example. For the longest time, the culture was losing games and making inept decisions. Fans still went to games.

Warriors with Outback MCW instead of Dray. Definitely an above avg PF and a fake all star. Fits the bill

Both things can be true, this is a team sport

They dropped 2 of the first 3 games to LeBron & 7 role players solely because Steph was the only one making shots.

Then other guys started making shots (mostly open because Steph was drawing two guys  ) , while on the other end the Cavs still couldn’t score… because of Iguodala & Dray.

They needed Steph’s gravity to help them offensively, Steph needed their help defensively…. Which is actually no different from the team they have right now

Who the hell is "Day Day"?

Is Zion one of the top 5 method actors of our generation? People hype up Robert Deniro for gaining 60 lb for Raging Bull but Zion did it for a f’n Mountain Dew commercial and hasn’t broken character yet. That’s the commitment I like to see out of a PF. Respect.

I wonder where that D was during the last the seasons, 2020 and 2021. Draymond played in those seasons and yet the Warriors were a basement team. would have been understandable if they were atleast slightly around 8-10 place, not last place. the only reason the Warriors were even able to make the wildcard game last season is because a partially healthy Steph was back. now that Steph is back to a 100%, they are on top of the standings. Defense play a crucial role on winning games, but let's not be hypocritical because a major part of the Warriors current standing is because of their offense. like someone mentioned, replace an above average guard with Steph and let's see if they would be on top of the leaderboard.
