Relying on Harden in high pressure/leverage moments in the playoffs...

If Durant replicate what he did last post season not even “playoffs harden” can get in the way of that.

You throwing rocks from a glass house with this one though. Playoff Russ is real as well.

Unlike LeBron, Kai is standing up for his true beliefs and not succumbing to the almighty dollar or the white man’s science 😏

In all seriousness, I can see a path where these mandates are lifted around the Spring. The numbers need to stay stable. NYC will get a new mayor and whenever someone new comes into office he/she wants a big headline. What better headline than I’m finally opening NYC up with no restrictions. Also, the potential mayor is a former cop. We know how rhe NYPD feels about all this.

I don’t think this happens during the winter for a multitude of reasons, but I can see it happening in the Spring, right before the playoffs.

In a perfect world, Harden and Durant are the perfect safety net for Kyrie's shenanigans

In reality, Harden's showing signs of aging and he isn't the durable guy that he once was. At 33, his body failed him last season. Durant is still recovering from the achilles, and you saw the hamstring give way last year with him as well. IIRC he didn't even play 40 games.

No Kyrie is a big deal.

Wonder how long before Qyrie's third eye blinks on this one. That 15-16 million could buy an awful lot of sage and walking sticks.

KD looked good in the Olympics, as for the rest, ehh

His body failed him last season because he sabotaged his own health to get out of Houston and playing your way into shape is dangerous. But 33 isn't exactly young either.
