This team smells like a poor man’s version of the 04 Lakers.

He can do it whenever he wants. I don't know why, but he just..............doesn't. I still remember him doing this in the 2013 finals against the Spurs with Chalmers and it ****ed Pop up since he wasn't the initiator.

Bron has mastered in game load management and loves having the ball in his hands to control pace. He ain't going it if it doesn't suit him.

What happens here though is that by making him the screener, you’re putting the ball in the hands of a significantly worse player that if he’s not finding the open man, is probably putting up an incredibly inefficient shot.

Russ hasn’t even been that bad for LAL on aggregate this year but he was never going to be good enough to justify that trade at this point in his career

At that price point, it forced LAL to sign a bunch of guys who stink and / or just irrelevant playoff time
