The play in is good.

it's forced good teams to play better later into the year to avoid the play-in
and it's incentivized bad teams to get better and not tank the rest of the season.

plus we get a bunch of win or go home games to kick off the playoffs.

Don’t really have any problem with the play-in. It’s good for the league to have bad teams like the Lakers and Kings try to make it instead of packing it in for the year and tanking. They have no realistic chance at making any noise, but at least they’re trying.

But I blame Glenn Rivers for Trezz going from a thrown-in part of the Clippers-Rockets CP3 trade (who almost got cut) to a locker-room poisoning primadonna.
