The Official Photography Thread - Vol. 3

Golfing with the goons and a street shot from my hood here in Korea.  More on the site (sig).  Peace.

anyone know how to change the flickr layout back to normal, I'm definitely not feeling this
sick.gif

For a starter camera, I just picked up a mirror less camera system (Sony NEX F3) for a pretty good price. I know the concept of the "hybrid" camera is pretty new, but was wondering if anyone else here does a lot of shooting with them? Ill post some shots shortly

How often do you guys clean your lenses?

Is it wise to try to clean it as least as possible?

Can anyone please recommend me a good lens cleaning kit/solution?

Thank you.

i keep hoya or b+w filters on my lenses pretty much all the time, and that helps keep the front element clean. i'll clean the filters when they look dusty, and the lens itself maybe once a month?

look into getting a lenspen. theyre pretty cheap, and its nice because they have a brush for removing dust/debris and a smooth/wiping part for fingerprints/smudges.

Sorry to hear Ben.

Nice one Steez.

What's the process when it comes down to getting prints?

Do you deal with the printing? Or do you simply give the edited files to the bride and groom and let them deal with it?

the only form of printing i offer is a flush mount album and even that i dont really push and once couples hear how much, they usually shy away from it since is realllly pricey, seems like as time passes printing is starting to become more of an after thought, what I offer is full rights and about 500 fully edited high res pics on a dvd.

Yeah, post your shots, let's see what you and you're camera can do.

Are you new to this thread? I am and it doesn't seem like these guys respond to people outside of a few...which kind of sucks since this is the official photography thread. The new NT (the last few years) is more about recognized personalities and less so about overall community.

a friend of mines is going to be featured in a magazine & there is a possibility that one of my photos will be in the mag so I'm wondering if i need to copyright the images we're submitting

New to this thread and fairly new to NT. 17 year old aspiring photographer, and Roshe collector/enthusiast.

Here's a recent shot from Grad Nite at Disneyland.

Benssick - Sorry to hear that Ben.
ksteezy - Good stuff.

I recently got my photo on the cover of a magazine along with another one inside it. The company should send you a contract stating everything from the basic uses, terms to money (If any is involved) and more.
