Well, I'm at the last boss in MRF... and I have to say I am pretty disappointed. Not only does the final boss drag on then transform into an even stronger being after you defeat it's first form, which takes forever... but then they don't even restore your party's HP/MP. He reduces your turns every round while increasing his, which pretty much just puts you on the defensive until you run out of MP and restoration items, which there is no shop before the boss to load up on. So here I am, sitting here with a ****load of monet and no way to use it outside of that dumb *** tycoon class. All this means I am pretty much ****** and I am gonna have to reload a save from like 5-10 hours ago just so I can go back and grind and hopefully stock up on items.

There should be a way to pay to rewind like a week or something so you can go back to finish final quests and buy items. I know the whole calendar system is nothing new to these types of games, but in this case they knew they could essentially get players completely stuck at the end of the game and that's not cool after spending almost 100 hours getting to that point. Definitely doesn't encourage me to replay it.

Did the pro come back in stock? I didn’t even try because I thought it wasn’t.
I didn’t try for it but I was curious if it did. Still said unavailable.
When I got to the page for the digital anniversary it was unavailable. Had to refresh then I atc and checked out.

Got this in today just in time for the Black Friday deals. Hopefully they have some good deals on the pro enhanced games.

All these GT7 updates are nice and all, but what would really get me to play more is providing the option to have qualifying and/or standing starts in Cafe mode.

The difficulty in GT7 is annoying to me because of the rolling start and being put in last place every single race, even if you placed first in the prior race of a series.

It forces you to either get an overpowered car or to drive like a psychopath, since you have handful of laps to make up a 20 second + gap with the leader.

Then, on normal mode, once I take the lead, I’m pretty much guaranteed to win.

I like playing on hard mode because the top 3-4 cars actually put up a challenge, but the frustrating part is even getting to them because of that huge gap from the beginning.

I love the actual feeling of the game, but every race in Cafe mode feels more like a crazy time trial rather than an actual race. I also refuse to play online because of how many times I’ve been rammed into/off the track, and then the game decides to give ME a penalty :lol
Yep, this is prob one of the biggest gripes I have with this game... and it's been like that for a long time... the 'chase the rabbit' races, which is not real racing. I don't get it cuz they used to have qualifying in the older GTs, but dunno why they decided to drop it all.

Rolling starts are bad enough and is even worse when you start at the back where the track happens to have a slow corner there. The cars on the straight are already off, while you still have to negotiate a turn before the start. You lose all momentum.

Using an OP car and racing super-aggressively, divebombing left and right is your only choice, unfortunately.

Sophy has been a good addition cuz it's way better than the normal AI cars, but ideally, it would be great if they could implement it in all their Campaign races.

100% with you on the online racing as well... that's just not for me.

Should’ve got a second controller but forgot about the drop

Still waiting on my 1st preorder from BB to ship though

I should’ve got the portal. I had a chance. Figured I already had the white. Now I want the Anny. And BB had an issue with my CC for my controller. I reapproved it then stupid capital one blocked it after that. I approved it and it’s all go ahead and re-order. That card is really starting to piss me off with blocking everything. Hope the controller goes through.

When and if you ever move on to tougher sims, you'll be amazed and very appreciative of how much starting from the back in GT has honed your skills - especially trail braking & collision avoidance. When you go back to GT, even in hard mode, it will just be fun and not much of a challenge... this is just to say, it may be annoying but it's making you a faster driver.

What's up guise...question for all...so I just got a charge for almost $175 on my card...it's says it's from the Playstation Network...I haven't even used my PS5 in like a month. Any idea what yall think it could mean (Have not received an email from them either) i just find it a bit odd and unexpected. Anybody knows what this could mean? Or should I call my card up ASAP?

Usually you got an email shortly after you make a purchase on PS Store.

IT might be in your spam folder, if you don't see anything try and hit up Sony directly and/or CC company.

forgot I complained above. Update on that is now BB says I didn’t pay, I have no way to fix it and customer service isn’t helping.

And my Edge got lost in UPS, but driver decided to mark it delivered as he looks for it.

The last time I played playstation was on my PS4 five years ago . Guess I’m due for an upgrade. And I only play like less than 10 games at the moment. Same with my PS4 I no longer have. I couldn’t get the ps5 when it launched and eventually I stopped caring. Happy to have the 30th anniversary one. Wouldn’t be much of a point to get the pro.

When I was young in the 90s there were so many good games for the ps1. And then onto the ps2, i got in 2003. I skipped the ps 3 due to school and work. Nowadays makes sense why I rarely play, but Im looking forward to GT7, and the next GTA.

Started playing Dead Island 2 3 days ago since it was included on PS+. It’s entertaining and I’d give it a 8 so far. I liked and played the heck out of the first game back on PS4 or PS3. The story is somewhat confusing and I can see how some people think the gane gets repetitive.

I'm getting my controller tomorrow from walmart cant wait! Woulda been nice to get a second but I'm the only one playing and rarely if ever do I have people over to play the ps5 with lol...

on another note copped all the cars today and man that 1 car was 20 million geez... I copped but dropped my bank roll down a lot... I stopped playing GT7 because even on easy its hard to compete with the AI... I can win definitely but I'm trying so hard just to get the dub...one of the updates they really messed up the PP in the game

Do other sims have better AI or is it all online?

I play on Hard and can win most races relatively comfortably... but my issue with the AI is just how they race. They slam on the brakes mid-corner when normally you'd start accelerating out of the corner... and also, when they get blue flags... they intentionally get in your way! It's one thing to avoid other cars in normal circumstances... it's another to avoid GT AI!

If anything, my challenge now is to focus on consistency... like when I'm doing a grind race, I'll be lapping the field, but my focus will be on consistent times lap after lap.

I'm done trying to convince you :lol

But I know there's a couple two three people out there that will take the plunge for 20 bucks and have a fantastic time.

Short answer, fork yes. I don't play online on PC either as I don't have the time to properly prepare, jumping out there without prep is suicide and borderline disrepectful.

I've spent most of my time on PC playing Automobilista 2 as of late. It's a different world, you have to practice, tune, etc and work up to being flawless to even win a one-off AI race on normal mode. There have been some challenges that I have had to simply take a break - becuase they were breaking me. Winning in that title really feels like an achievement. Not much different with Race Room Experience or AC.

sidebar - Can't wait for AC EVO in January, they've even added free roam which should be fun just to relax.
