ive been wanting to play TLoU.
i see Amazon has PS4 TLoU Remastered for $17 and PS5 TLoU Part 1 for $30.

is the PS5 version the complete story? other than visuals any major differences?

Copped Marvel Vs Capcom collection this morning I think a good number of people who really wanted it just but the bullet and paid resale prices for MvC 2 long ago I know I did but I didn’t have the others

I need a date on that Capcom and SNK collection next

Id like to know the differences too.

TLOU Part 1 improves the visual fidelity and performance of the game to be on par with TLOU 2.

Some good news today. UPS actually found my 30th Edge. It was a seasonal help guy who misplaced it.

Other than that was able to scoop up 2 slims with drives for my kids Xmas gifts. BB had about 20 with drives when I was there the other day. They were down to 7.

Now just need some kid appropriate games for 10/11 yos.

Demon’s Souls was a cool launch title but I have no desire to go back and play that. It’s some barebones compared to future FROM titles.

The production quality on the PS5 version is insanely good and imo if you didn’t complete it I think it’s worth doing the journey once and experiencing the OG that started it all. But if you did complete it then I see why you wouldn’t want to go back in part considering NG+ is supposedly brutal on top of it being relatively bare.

I think a lot of people who said it’s the easiest souls game used a specific build/weapon (magic, crescent falchion.) I tried playing it blind after beating Sekiro, bloodborne, and Elden ring and struggled badly at points.

I finished it within a few weeks of it releasing. I didn’t find it difficult and played it blind. The bosses were more gimmicky than difficult, imo. The one that was tough was the flying boss that summons a second one and requires you to fight on a small island-like platform; that fight was straight up unfair due to lack of space. Overall it was ok but I think it definitely ranks last of all Souls games that I’ve played.

Glad to have the PS5 30th anniversary.

The USB cable is cool, but nothing else about a grey controller excites me. I like that pearl pad, but not for $55. Was hoping controllers went on sale for $40 again, but that might not happen. Which is fine since my cobalt controller from past BF is still new.
