Was stacking up 1 year subs when CDkeys had those crazy deals on them a couple of years back to the point where my PS+ subscription doesn't expire until the end of the July 2030.

Sony was originally gonna make people who got PS+ subs on discount and stacked them pay crazy amounts to upgrade to the PS+ Premium or Extra tiers based on the number of days remaining on their subscription but faced a huge backlash for it and decided to cap the cost of the tier upgrades based on the amount of time left on your subscription.

For me the Premium and Extra tiers were capped at $150 and $100 but had that not been the case I would have had to have paid close to $500 to upgrade to the Premium tier based on when my stacked PS+ subscription expired.

With this Premium sub I might just start waiting on games. This one would be hard to resist at release though. One of the greats.
