lol, but you knew you were wearing a sweatshirt. which bear was it?
^those are my favorite polo's of the season outside of the re-issued "River" Rugby.
Nothing you don't know, but most people don't differentiate one from another.
You and I could be standing next to one another, me rocking a golf bear tee I bought at the outlet last week, and you rocking a Producer Bear, or Martini Bear (which you probably have, you bastard!) and most cats who like Polo would be just as quick to holla at me as you.
I do consider the royal blue/navy/orange rugby with the "River" font a re-issue. It's not an exact replica, but the concept itself has been re-issued. I would't touch the other ones from the collection.you consider those, as "re-issue's"?
i view them as new, could've been better, bolder, bigger. the true "re-issue" was the indian head chambray.
i still have to pick those up (river, kayak, etc.) but far from my priorities right now.

I'm on the fence on that jacket up there. It looks ill but that US Coastal Guard on the back is kinda corny (to me atleast IMO). Gimme the jacket, make a cool patch or put some POLO verbiage on it, but I do not work for the coast guard. Im going to look like one of those AmeriCorps workers. The Polo shirt with the big US COASTAL GUARD on the front is silly as well (IMO).
I agree. The consisteny is the reason why RL is a "timeless" brand. If we want to base re-issue's on concepts, then basically every year / seasonal line are re-issues. all of the "concepts" are repeated from yacht / sailing / rafting/ track & field / olympic / wildlife / sportsman, etc.
I copped...The River polo was $69 this weekend on macys.com...I agree with you SMB, the river is the best one. I just sent back the RL GUIDE

And that's a Damn shame that the "River" is the best one outta all them pieces. I can't count how many times I picked them shirts up and put them back, then picked them up again and put them back.

it says "US COASTAL PATROL" on the back, are we not looking at the same jacket? the jacket replicates what the coast guard wears from the front storage chest pockets to the safety reflectors. there are patches with RL on it, again, are we not looking at the same jacket?. you have unconsciously repeated the coast guard because of the similarities but RL can't use the actual words so instead uses "COASTAL PATROL". do you not wear other clothing that resembles other types of service? or other types of lifestyles that you do not practice? if you do, then of course you are going to "look" the part, which is basically the point when it comes designer fashion, as to "look" a certain way.
Imo jacket looks like something by the northface, coastal patrol on the back doesn't help either, but who cares jay post some heat god damn it....
the northface produced "SKI PATROL" jackets years ago with the blue/orange color
sorry, but i don't have "heat".
