I agree with the real fans. Female polo is done better.
Mens sportswear line is hit or miss most of the time. Not consistently good like 87 to 96.
They should sell the CP RL, Stadium, P wing, P Racing, Polo Country, Snow Beach, and Hitech brands together under Polo Sport brand, to LVMH or Keiring.
The French will make those lines like Ralph did in the 90s. Thats the only lines most hard core urban customers like anyway.
Keep the rest. Now you can sell to
the outlet and wont worry about quality snobs.
LVMH has no strong middle of the road American brands. Polo Sport would be perfect.
They can switch the rest of his line to just be Ralph Lauren label in America.
Break off the sportswear wing and sell it to the French under Polo Sport (CP RL, Stadium, P wing, Snow Beach,
P Racing, Polo Country and Hitech).
Change the rest to just be Ralph Luren label and keep that American. RRL rl Bear, Purple Label, Blue Label, and RLX
can stay American. Blue Label can just read as Ralph Lauren instead of Polo by Ralph Lauren.
Solves the money issues and you wont have to cater to the urban market anymore.
