I mean fortnight is probably the biggest game to ever exist terms of popularity but it’s just not a good mix. Especially for polo to lend probably the most hallowed collection it has, in stadium, to be used in fortnite. Just weird to me.

I don’t know the data but Minecraft might have been more popular. And again this is primarily children, who would not be spending this kinda dough on clothes. I can only think it’s a way for Polo to reach to a younger generation as the direction they’re going.

It's not just children playing Fortnite. Grown *** men spend hours upon hours a day on videogames. Not me, haven't played since rocking out Fifa and Madden in college, but there is a HUGE market out there for 20,30,40 year olds even in this.

I know, but Fortnite’s primary audience is Jr High and under. Think the High School and up tend to play Call of Duty or something along those lines.

I think it's this.

A way to invest in the younger generation regarding the brand

I don't know the data, but I'm assuming it shows gamers have a decent disposable income, and/or are an under penetrated demo.

Its tough keeping a lifestyle marketing brand relevant across 50 years. They probably figure no risk but potential for reward. They went with a gaudy, graphic heavy collection... Highlighting the "fashion" side of polo... Can't imagine it will be net negative on their Classics, premium sports or upscale segments.

Probably an attempt to broaden stadium appeal,too. The stadium collection 2 all have Fortnite logos on em. Will be interesting to see if traditional stadium buyers go after this stuff or if it even plays on the resale scene.

Ah okay, didn't know this was the case honestly. Bottom line is I am sure this will sell since they are doing stadium pieces with it. That is always a surefire seller and considering the collab, people might think it will be worth A LOT more down the line.

Guess they forgot to open a box over at Macys or something...

They've got the cream shorts in all sizes, on clearance.

Nobody had these except for UniqueStyle BK... And they wanted full MSRP.
Polo website, Macys, Bloomies, Saks, etc... Didn't see these anywhere!

Glad macys finally got em and they went straight to $31.93 pricing.
