Anatomy of an Ensemble... Phase 1

I started with RRL

Took a chance on this bad boy but only because I saw the below out in the wild...

and it looked like it would match perfectly - but hey I wouldn't know for sure until it got

offa that slow boat literally from China... So with the core complete I started to....

Dibble - and yep those gloves were on the same Slow Boat from China... and

a little Dabble and next thing I knew I pretty much had an Ensemble worthy of posting...

a little RLX in there besides the belt couldn't hurt so I added an RLX Golf base layer...

a Splash of Black Label to complete the Ensemble.... and Lo and Behold (pun intended)

RRL Indigo/Gray Ensemble (with just a touch of Black&Blue&RLX Labels)

Black Label Military Inspired Cargo Jacket (Grayish Silver) polyester with leather accents

RRL Indigo Cable Knit Beanie

RRL Wool Knit Fingerless Gloves (Gray)

RRL Slim fit Sanforized Slevedge jeans (Gray)

Polo Torrington leather oxford wingtips (Blue) Marshalls!!!

RLX GOLF 1/2 Zip Mockneck microfleece (Blue) (used as baselayer)

RLX Nylon Web Belt (White)

But I figured I could do better... Much Better keeping the core RRL Sweater Hat & Gloves Combo...

So Keeping the core from Phase 1 - I swapped out the Gray RRL jeans for Blue...

Then I swapped out the Black Label Jacket for RLX (gotta have RLX in the mix)

too much Blue with the Torringtons so I swapped them out for these bad boys....

one last swap with the RLX Golf Blue for a RLX White base layer... and Tah Dah....

I felt this setup was really good but I still could take it up a notch or two...

Not much to mess with here everything is on point but to take it up a notch

Something would have to go...

and of course something would have to be added...

The Tan RLX and Boots complement each other it would be a shame to separate them...

But sometimes small sacrifices have to be made in order to advance the whole... Ensemble

Now I'm not one for swapping out RLX for anything but maybe just this once....

All together now... well at least the Sweater & Vest...

OK so I'm not willing to swap anything - so I'm just gonna shift this to the left a little...

I can't mess with the above it's right & exact... I'm gonna ADD something to take it up...

a notch... The Tan & Gray is doing it all by itself... I'm just along for the ride on this one 

Hot Damn: I can't take it any higher than this and I'm not even Purple Labeling...

herueyes herueyes - Wow! Just Wow! Great setups all the way down to the details of the knit pattern on the RRL mitts, hat, and the sweater. Everything is flaimes including the jackets and the vest. I thought that RLX was the only label using that moderns style throat latch, but crazy to see that it's the same one as the black lablel collection. The Polo Wool Cargo Jacket with the leather accents is my favorite out of everything. It's perfect.

@SP- I'll get the someone to take a pic of me wearing something here soon. :lol: Enjoy the rest of your stay in Spain.

How much can I expect to pay on the secondary market for the RLX bear XL? Missed my size when it came out and didn't want to risk sizing down.

The fall winter items that I was watching are finally at a decent price, but I can't find a reason to buy them so I'm passing for now. There's a few new spring RRL items that are on my list, but nothing that I can't do without.

@Polo Sport- That hooded beacon poncho is serious in the video.

@Herueyes- thanks for posting the coupon. I may pick the little ones up some clothing with it.
